A lot of mixed emotion going on with this post.

We've been throwing guys under the bus left and right, except for Bumgarner. However, he has been anything but lock down the past couple of months. High pitch counts, 5 or 6 inning starts, pedestrian WHIP and ERA. He had hardly pitched like an ace, much less like a number 3. He certainly hasn't been able to carry the team this time.
