He's a major league pitcher, paid good money to get hitters out. When a reliever doesn't do that with some frequency, the reliever risks losing his job.

I never said otherwise. But if said major leaguer continues to fail, and he continues to be put in that same position, after a while he is no longer responsible for the outcome.

Lol......What was obvious? The off the wall nature of that game or the fact we are still going to win the West? Or, all of the above. I've thought of posting more, but we were playing such good ball early on, I didn't want to jinx it. In the 2nd Half there has not been a moment where I felt was a good time to jump in because everything I would say, you guys already covered. Mainly, the frustration.......lol
