They both have 2.

Ummm there is no one I've come across in real life, on TV, or the Internet, that thought the Pats were losing yesterday
Gronk really needs to stick to Beer Pong, what an embarrassment he's become
you're not from here
lots of folks said 0-2 was possible, including myself.
only one of them has their two titles since 1948
Kluber's got a 197 ERA+, 0.85 WHIP, 7.41 K/BB
Just for reference on how great that is, Kershaw in his MVP season had a 197 ERA+, 0.86 WHIP, 7.71 K/BB
True that.
Fucking crazy. The Royals make the playoffs only twice in the last 32 years, but they nab a championship. Indians have ten playoff berths in that period, with no championship.
Begs an interesting question. Would you rather root for a team who makes the playoffs 30% of the time or so, but never wins a championship, or a team that sucks balls for thirty, never sniffing the playoffs, then wins a championship.
It's honestly a hard question for me to answer, but I think I'd take the team that isn't a perennial shit show.
Can you imagine dougplayer's meltdown if Kluber were to win CY and MVP?

well, NO one thought they'd lose to the Chiefs either
Definitely true, but once they did, I dont know anyone that gave the Saints a chance yesterday
They will crush Houston next week also
There are teams out there the Pats will beat with half a roster
I'll take 20 years of shit then a ring as opposed to being competitive every year and losing when it counts
I wouldnt say they sucked balls for 30 years though. They had some winning seasons mixed in, but I kow what youre saying
Kluber locked up CYA yesterday
If not for Altuve, Kluber might win both
That might be an easier position to take two years removed from a championship. Your opinion might have varied in 2006 after the fourth 100+ loss season in five years.
yep, im sure it would have
28 years. 8 winning seasons. Only one 90+ win season. Thirteen 90+ loss seasons. No playoff berths.
i wonder how successful other teams would be if they went 7 years without an owner. the original owner left the team to a trust, which was good in theory, but totally fucked them
I could see where that would mess things up considerably. I was not aware of that.
Owner died in 93, left the team to a trust, headed by David Glass
He did that so a local owner could step up. Nobody did, so Glass bought them for $93M in 2000.
then the wheels fell off and he completely fucked things up. After the 10th round, he Drafted mostly college seniors who had no leverage and offered them $1000 to sign.
Thank God he hired Dayton Moore 6 years later and promised to open the checkbook
