So far he's keeping us in the game.

As I see it, the one clear advantage we have over the Dodgers is our bullpen. Hopefully we can stay close and pull away at some point.

Petit is doing all we can ask from him. I think this is the only way we beat 'shaw ..... stay close and then hope for a long ball very late in the game ...

Well, we will either need to see LOTS of pitches (to get into the pen) or score a run to extend the game for that to be a factor.

They can make up 3 games in the last 2 weeks. Dodgers still have a tough week ahead of them, and then get to fly from Chicago to see us the next day. It is not over.....

Both schedules are cake walks. The best we can hope for, legitimately, is to pick up 1 game, which means we would need to make up 2 in the head-to-heads games (a sweep).

Sure, mathematically, it isn't over. But we do need to be realistic.
