He fought Matt Cooke, who was the smallest forward on the team at the time (and noted turtle). Basically tried to 'pick his poison' as it were, after turning down a few other players.
May was also chasing around Worrell all game (offered up three times I can recall), which added to the heat.

yeah, many people don't remember that there was a game between these two after the Moore-Naslund incident, but that was a close game.

actually, i was quite disappointed in May in the Moore-Nazzy game. He was on the ice, and he went over to Moore right away, but basically just gave him a hug. If he kicked that shit out of Moore at the time (take the 2 +5 + 10, he ended up getting 2 min for his hug anyways), it would have been a done deal.

I argued up and down with this chick i used to work with about this incident. Bertuzzi was wrong, (and i get that) but all Moore had to do was drop the gloves when asked to and it would have been over. I know he fought Cooke, but when Bert asked he should have obliged and just got it over with.
