Rented a cabin up in DeerMountain, Saturday to Friday

Woke up like 5am to go for a hike, gigantic black bear dragging my garbage up the mountain

Later in the day see the bear and her 2 Cubs hovering above the cabin

$600 a night, went to management and told them we are outta here

5 young kids, daughters and their cousins can't be outside playing with bears

Vacation ruined

why not just go to canada? you could have avoided NH all together.

bears are odd. they can either be docile and curious or they can eat your face. we have a family of black bears behind my house. my dog refuses to go outside when she smells them. i bought some repellent, circled our property. supposed to keep em out.

good call to leave. a desperate, hungry momma bear with cubs is bad news.

Management was telling us they are more afraid of us. But her with the Cubs changes everything

It's only guys on SportsHoopla though. Right now there are only 4 or 5 of us. Basically pick a new 15 every week with a certain amount of cash. It is strictly for the EPL.

Mainly because it breaks from the norm and makes writers think outside the box. A dominant pitcher is more valuable in his starts than any single position player. A position player may go out there every day, but they are 1 guy in a lineup of 9 while a pitcher is 1 guy in a rotation of 5. A starter will face more batters in a season than a position player will have plate appearances.

Now, that's not saying that a pitcher should win it every year (and I think Altuve should rightfully be the front-runner this year), but when a pitcher is that much better than their competition, I think they can be more valuable than a position player. I think those are actually rare occurrences because there are so many starters and I don't think this year is one of them, but I do enjoy dominant pitching over just about anything. I thought Santana should have won it in 2006 and Pedro in 1999.

Where is Houston without Altuve? First place


Sorta the same reasoning why I think Jordan and Lebron should win the MVP every single season

Steph Curry should never win an MVP on an all star team
