A quick roster move: Hector Sanchez is back and Guillermo Quiroz was designated for assignment. Makes sense — Sanchez said his shoulder is healthy again, so it’s time to get him some more big league AB’s. The Giants haven’t gotten much out of Posey’s backups this year, and that’ll have to change next year.

The roster expansions only affect the 25, not the 40.

I would not be shocked to see any of the 3 mentioned fall.

I like the U (7.5), but 160 is expensive for the Giants right now. There isn't a spread-line.

I'm not following; are you saying that they will want to call up non 40 players so much that they'll DFA Zeets, Frenchy, etc?

In a lost season, when rosters can expand with current 40 players?

I think they may want to take a look at Monell. Also, Oxy will need to come off the 60 in about a month or so. MAYBE give Escobar a look-see (highly unlikely).

They were willing to give Lilly a look, so you know they are willing to make changes...
