Struck him out, but the runner advanced TWO bases during that AB.

Unacceptable.

He had a nice first game, but I just get this sense that Marlon Byrd is just going to be another Jose Guillen. Though his clubhouse presence seems to be 1000% better.
When Pence/Pagan comes back, he will be the 4th OFer.

Why?

Why give that guy ANYTHING to hit?

Absolutely ridiculous.

Unacceptable.

I was just thinking, before that pitch, "I hope Schwarber doesn't do something." I don't like that guy. Can we just drill him next at bat?

I seem to recall that he hit breaking balls pretty well in the series in Chicago. Why Cain would throw 2 in a row, both in the middle of the plate, is beyond me.

Also, 10 homeruns in 51 innings pitched for Cain.

For Cain, that only 1 every other start...

I'm starting to feel a little tzilesque right now.

Haha, Cain teased us last start and the beginning of this one. Don't know if I can trust him anymore.

If this offense can put up some damn runs, I wouldn't have to side with tzill :D

I'd be willing to bet 8 out of those 10 Home Runs given up have been on hanging breaking balls.......

Can we please stop running him out there every 5th game? (And I hate saying that because he is one of my favorite Giants of all time)

To be fair to Cain, the defense screwed him over in that inning.

Belt should have had the lead off single (would have taken a good play, but that is what we expect from Belt).

Posey with the PB put Cain in an even tougher spot. He did not help himself with the WP.

If the lead off single does not happen (but everything else happens exactly as it did) then Duff gets at least one out with the chopper and Schwarber either does not come up at all or he comes up with only 1 man on.

Defense kills.

Really hate it when they give up those 2-out runs. In a big hole now facing Arrieta.
