Super close - love Milks team but I'm going me here - think my 1-3 SP gets it done and bullpen (like his) is built for lots of innings if needed

I still think your team would have been better with Dick Allen.... My only complaint about your team is that you focused too much on balance... you don't really have that one big Bopper... Miggy is the only one I fear HRs from... and in close matchups, I like to see that HR swing...

I think my offense has more power than yours, and is probably better at small ball too...

I consider our pitching staffs a virtual tie, you have the better 1-3, but I have the better 4-5, and my bullpen is slightly better...

I got me... and it is almost entirely because of looks... we both know you ugly...

its actually fun that my team is facing your team... we both had similar drafts in that we waited for power... allowed us to be more balanced than everyone else...

Mannnn my power plans fell thru. I had huge hopes and aspirations for either Ken Griffey Jr or Frank Thomas + EMart. You kinda screwed that last one up and so I just went for more balance. I'll always remember this draft as the one where taking Joe Morgan, arguably the 2B goat, completely screwed me lol

Musial, Kiner, Mo Vaughn and Campanella wasn't a bad 3-6 power-wise. :suds:

I had one scenario worked out where I had Thomas, Bo Jackson and Deion Sanders. Might not have been as good but how fun would an OF of Bo-Deion-Ichiro be

yea, I had similar plans... as you know, once I drafted Dick Allen, I was trying to pawn him off right away... he was my "ruin of all plans" guy...

When Ralph Kiner was taken, I kind of panicked... not that dick allen was a bad pick, but I definitely did not need him...
