Too close to take. Typical for Belt

Edit:

Belt is not a good 3 hitter. He is not nearly aggressive enough.

But with all his watched pitches, he does tend to milk the pitcher. That would point to a decent #2 hitter, but he is not consistent enough for that, and he has too much power to waste there. I think he really is best in the 5 or 6 hole.

Bryant and Crawford have very similar numbers.

I agree. When Pence is in there, I usually like Belt after him which is 5th or 6th

Astros are killing the Yankees right now (I know, not relevant to the Giants). Glad I'm not Chris Capuano. The guy has been designated for assignment by the Yankees three times . . . within the past 30 days! And he pitched today. From the looks of things, he should be getting dfa'd the 4th time soon.

Carlos Correa grabbed his hammy when they were up 15-0. My fantasy team wouldn't be happy if he went down.

I don't. Surprisingly, fangraphs doesn't track it. Unless I looked in the wrong places.

In the mlb app, go to plays/all plays and click on each individual AB...that will give you the number of pitches for each AB. Add up the ABs in the inning and viola!

I don't know if Posey just isn't seeing the ball right or what, but the struggles continue.

He had a nice first game, but I just get this sense that Marlon Byrd is just going to be another Jose Guillen. Though his clubhouse presence seems to be 1000% better.

For some reason, I can't click on each individual AB.

edit: never mind I got it.
