I get that they are working with him, but at the big league level? His numbers with Sacramento weren't that good. He had a 3.38 ERA in 3 appearances but he gave up 6 hits and a walk in 2.2 IP. Seems like he needs more time in the minors. Sure, his big league numbers are SSS but they are absolutely atrocious.

Szapucki might be churn. We don’t know. Maybe they wanted to get their best eyes on him to determine if he was worth holding on to moving forward. Give him 2-3 weeks with Bailey and crew then act accordingly.

The prob is that our SPs are actually really good, so almost every game is really close (because we get every opposing pitcher’s career game).

We have to give our lower guys work in leverage innings in order to give Brebbia, Garcia and Doval a breather. But those guys need to stay out of any game with a 3-run or more difference.

Our starters have been OK.

Our bullpen has been spotty.

Our fielding sucks.

We are a .500 team, with a .500 team payroll.
