I'm just here to troll everyone

Complete rebuild for next year. Outside of Doval and Brebbia, as you said, I think everyone must go.Outside of Brebbia and Doval it's a trainwreck
Most pen guys are like that, the ones that are good year in and year out are rare and get paidComplete rebuild for next year. Outside of Doval and Brebbia, as you said, I think everyone must go.
Good thing we tossed away a 23 year old AAA bullpen prospect for no apparent reason.
Garcia may be worth keepingComplete rebuild for next year. Outside of Doval and Brebbia, as you said, I think everyone must go.

I still like Rogers as well, but I won’t shed a tear for any of those guys getting tossed.Garcia may be worth keeping
Well, I'd counter that the only "reliable" arm is Doval. The others vary from erratic to absolute shitshow. In a tight game, it should be
7 Garcia
8 Brebbia
9 Doval
These are the only remotely reliable guys.
The others are just inning eaters.
Bad mistake by Mr. Kaplan.
I think you are too tough on your grading of relief pitchers, but to each alt his own.Well, I'd counter that the only "reliable" arm is Doval. The others vary from erratic to absolute shitshow.
I don't think Kap has that much to work with.
Agreed about Long, esp since he is a lefty.I think you are too tough on your grading of relief pitchers, but to each alt his own.
I also think one of the better relievers, Sam Long, is sitting in AAA when he should be with the big club. I saw that, predictably, Szapucki got knocked around in his first Giants' appearance.
Yeah, I am forgetting that. Not good numbers. However, that is still better than Szapucki, who lowered his season ERA with his awful first appearance.I think we are forgetting that Long lost it for about a month before getting sent down.
From July 8 to August 1…
10 G, 12 IP, 8.25 ERA, 16 H, 6 BB, 1.062 OPS
I think they like Long, there was just something (probably mechanically) he needs to work on, so they sent him down. That isn’t and won’t be the first thing mentioned in his career eulogy. It happens to most pitchers.Yeah, I am forgetting that. Not good numbers. However, that is still better than Szapucki, who lowered his season ERA with his awful first appearance.
I get that they are working with him, but at the big league level? His numbers with Sacramento weren't that good. He had a 3.38 ERA in 3 appearances but he gave up 6 hits and a walk in 2.2 IP. Seems like he needs more time in the minors. Sure, his big league numbers are SSS but they are absolutely atrocious.I think they like Long, there was just something (probably mechanically) he needs to work on, so they sent him down. Szapucki, I think they are just evaluating him. They liked SOMETHING when they knocked him around (reportedly he was tipping his pitches in that outing), so now that they control him, they are working with him. I am not interested in his numbers right now.
That's probably fair: Harleeen and Brebbia have been decent. But you can't burn out those guys. The rest of the bullpen has to step up.Both Garcia and Brebbia have respectable ERAs and WHIPs.
They can't all be a healthy Robb Nen or Rod Beck.
Mr. Kaplan fucked up last night.
