Yeah the Giants as a team sucked from 2005 until 2009. I guess the point I'm trying to make is that Tim was the face of the team after the Bonds-ERA. With his Cy Young 2008, he became "The Franchise". Cain was stuck getting "Cained", while Tim was dominating. Then the Giants got lucky and landed Bum and Posey, but that was after Timmeh.

Okay, I'll give you that. There was a buzz created with Lincecum's call up that wasn't there for Cain's call up.

Tomlinson seems like he can hit some, and he is comfortable at 2B. I'd like to see him start over EA while is on the DL. Use EA for defensive purposes or a utility guy. EA's average has risen of late, he was in the low .100's for a while.

Okert in his last ten games has gone 10.2 IP, 9 H, 1 ER, 2 BB, 14 K's. Looks like he is turning it around after about a week of disastrous appearances.
