I'm probably going to really screw this up, but it has to do with the way he is gripping his bat. A few weeks ago they said he was holding it so that the bottom knuckles were aligning (too tight of a grip) so they had him work on changing it so that the middle ones line up. Or something like that.

Yeah, my take that Belt's ceiling is JT Snow is starting to look pretty stupid right now.
