I'm around. Same shit, different campaign. I blew a gasket when Wijnaldum didn't clear that set piece. He was the worst player on the pitch. Everything Klopp tried, failed miserably.

Salah, Mane, and Firmino are going to be a lot of fun to watch this year, but they are going to have to outscore everyone.

Trying not to overreact to the first match (they lost to Burnley in the 2nd match last year), but that should have been 3 points.

At least it was a road game. About the only good thing I can say about that.

Chelsea lost too, so that made me feel better. Focused on UCL this week, and this weekend they have Crystal Palace at Anfield. They just got torched by Huddersfield so hopefully they can rebound quickly. Still some time to make some additions if need be also.

Me too, and I've got him in a keeper league, and he won't qualify for a MLB player in the league, so I'll get to keep him as a minor leaguer.

Like Liverpool, I think goaltending is going to be a problem for Arsenal this year. Cech is just about done.

The PL matches, along with the bonkers last 15 minutes of Juve-Lazio in the Supercoppa and a highly eventful Spanish Supercup Clasico (thanks to the ref, mostly) made for a bloody excellent weekend of soccer.
