Despite the consensus on this thread thus far, there aren't a lot of guys throwing 100+ in the majors.

Also, according to MLB.com Devers' HR off Chapman's 102.8 MPH heater last night was the fastest pitch hit for a HR on record (since 2008).

i think its time he learned to pitch, not just throw 102.8

I was surprised the Yankees gave him as long of a contract as they did. We saw in the WS last year that when his velocity dips, he's pretty hittable.

That article says there were 52 MiLB pitchers throwing 100+ in 2014. Apparently, they haven't made the leap to MLB yet.

as of now, the sox only have 1...pennington...and i dont see any for cleveland.
