Peavy has had less run support than Vogelsong, hard to believe. Let's really, really, really try and score some early runs today, OK fellas?

Let's also try to hit as many to RF as possible with Dunn out there. THAT'S something Meulens can do to help today, tell the players how to do that.

LOL! Yeah, instead of rolling over the outside fastballs and pulling them to short (or 2b for a LHH), let's try and go oppo once in a while.

I'd love to see Morse's hitting chart from April-May, and then June-August. I would guess that he had a lot more oppo hits early on, and is trying to pull everything now.

And the lefties don't even need to go opposite field (just Crawford and Panik I guess today)

Also, Quintana tends to throw a lot of pitches (if we'll let him!) and the Sox bullpen SUX. So work on that.

Yeah, that will work. When have we forced the pitcher to work?

Dunn homers into McCovey Cove, 1-0.

Game over.

Posey leadoff triple.

Panda FPOM (weak)

Morse (K)

Duvall (F9)

Damn these hitters. Man on 3rd and no outs and we still can't get him home. :lm: :deadhorse: :L

LOL, it's like these guys are trying to get every last person off their bandwagon...

Sure, don't score Posey from 3rd with no outs, msg don't mind!

Someone posted a few days back that the Giants truly were the worst team in the majors at scoring a runner on 3rd with no outs. Anyone remember which GDT that was in?

I think it now counts as a shut down inning if you don't give up any runs the next inning after you just gave up some runs. I am declaring it to be so. Or maybe we need a name for that...No Worse Inning? NWI?

I looked up yesterday that the Giants have only one Sac Fly since the ASB. ONE!

Runner on 3rd less than 2 outs, Giants are, indeed, dead last in all of baseball.

An interesting observation...

The A's have an OPS of .996 (basically an MVP candidate) in that situation. Meanwhile, the Giants have an OPS of .646 (basically a cuppo-level player).

A bunch of mental-midgets!

Didn't someone on the Mouse board rant on and on about shrinking sphincters in these situations?

Mental or not, it's a thing. My most hated thing.

"Mental midgets" was a term used by either Marcus or Tito. Don't remember which.
