Holy Crap, that's a fish. I caught an 85 lb Halibut in Homer AK, and that was a fight. I can't even imagine one that big...

yeah, they are pretty strong. They just shoot the big ones. That was some good eating!

I hear ya. I love trying different fish. Recently, I have developed a love for shark. Fairly easy to find, Fun to catch, and good to eat. Caught a lemon shark yesterday and I'm going to try some of it tonight.

yep, we have 'em around here too. I'm just not sure which variety. I think there is the smooth dogfish and the spiny dogfish. I wonder how they eat?

I don't know, but the mates treated Pacific Cod like garbage... Used every one we caught for bait. When we asked them to keep them for us, they said OK, cut one open, and it 's fillets were full of worms. We used them for bait after that.

I love fish, I hate cod. One time I meant to buy haddock and bought cod, I couldn't eat it and my cat wouldn't touch it either. I can name you about 20 fish I enjoy eating and cod isn't one of them. The only time I can handle it is the processed stuff in sandwichs which is ok/ edible.
