Vita, if the Jags moved to LA would you be a Rams fan or a Jags fan?

Let's put it this way, I would attend EVERY JAGS GAME when they host the Rams... Always sporting my Dickerson jersey or that of another great Ram!

That should clear it up!

I have a similar thought and have wondered how many posters here who are die hard St Louis Rams fans would continue to be Rams fans if the Rams actually did move back to LA?

I'm not fully sure what I would do if the Rams moved to LA or somewhere else. Id follow them for sure but they wouldn't get any of my money so that isn't going to matter to them. Im too young to have been a football Cardinals fan.

Jags aren't going anywhere, btw. The 3 teams that could potentially move would be the Rams, Chargers and Vikings if I was to guess.

Vita, thats what I assumed but I got curious.

If the Rams leave I'm out. The franchise I grew up with is the Pittsburgh Steelers and I will always love them. I follow the Rams for 1 reason and that it because I love my city and want to see what's best or it. The Rams having success is good for St Louis so I hope they win a lot of games. I don't follow whats going on in the life of my ex-girlfriend and I won't follow the Rams if they walk away.

Quoted for truth.

I'd have a hard time supporting the Rams if they move back to LA. I have many shirts and hats that has the St. Louis Rams logo on it... so does my bed set. I love the Rams but I love my city more. Rams knew the city wouldn't budge on spending tax payer dollars to fund a new stadium when the city didn't cover most of the costs to build the new Busch Stadium.

Fastforward it doesn't really matter if other games are on T.V. because many times you can watch the game on the web. The Rams will get greater coverage as they get to be more of a perrienial contender.

Mutigers and ShaneC, sorry to hear you guys would abandon the Rams if they left. I remember when they left Cleveland and went to LA the first time how everyone in Cleveland hated them and the people in LA treated the team somewhat of a novelty.

Vita. I am quite sure you are excited as a sane man can be at the notion of the Rams coming to LA-again. It looks like with greater probability that the Rams are indeed headed back to LA. There is a large history there and many players still reside in SoCal. I am sure you are chompin at the bit to see them in-person again!! I gotta kick out of your take on the Jags/Rams debate. Classic Vita!!

I have no dog in this fight as I have seen this club move several times. As long as those horns are on that helmet, I'll be a Rams fan!

Off what Shane said, any team in any sport that comes to STL I will support because its good for the city(they have paid the police/fire salaries with the extra revenue for the Cards the last 2 years). The Cardinals are the heart of the city and will never leave, but any team that ever did I would cut off.

That was pretty much what I was getting at. I didn't want to mention streaming sites or name any of them as American based public forums get a bit twitchy about it. I was banned twice at NFL.com for breaching that particular rule.

Fastforward. That sounds odd. Why anyone would get twitchy about what everyone knows is already on the web smacks a little of censorship based on what I don't know? To my knowledge, you won't get banned here on SportsHoopla for mentioning a particular site where the game is streaming on game day.

Over on SeeBS we used to do that routinely without consequences. Someone would find a site where folks could watch the game and it would become common knowledge. We'd always come back to the site after the game for post-game analysis which we will do here as well. No worries then and carry on mate!

:nod:There will never be a debate for me. If the Rams moved to London I would sport strawberry and cream drinks on game day. If they moved to Mexico City, I'll have a sip of cervesa and have a taco and enjoy the games. I watched them move from Cleveland to LA and then from LA to St Louis, that will never change my love for the Rams. Until I die, as long as there is a Rams team, I will support them, north, south, east or west. That is me and I can't change.

@Retroram52, their point of view was that they were selling $200+ tv packages and they didn't like posters mentioning that everyone could effectively get a 100% discount. They also said that such sites were illegal in the US. The Department of Homeland Security seemed to agree. I could see their point of view. What annoyed me was that they'd ban people listing genuine sites but leave some of the fake/virus site posts up. I stopped fighting them when I became friends with the top mod there. Ironically one of the sites involved in streaming buys advertising space on the British subscription sports channel that they're streaming. (Shrugs shoulders). Anyway...i'm sure everyone has a 'FirstRow' seat.http://www.sportshoopla.com/forums/members/retroram52.html

Mutigers and ShaneC, sorry to hear you guys would abandon the Rams if they left.

Never said I would ''abandon'' them if they left. I'd have a hard time supporting them if they leave because of the ridiculous reasons that they would leave for. In the end, the NFL is a business and the Rams are a business and that is the part that I have a hard time grasping. They want money and all money. In the end, they didn't care that they would break your heart when leaving LA to STL and they won't care about the hearts they break if they leave STL for LA London... They will be release the usual statement, "We thank St. Louis for the past...'' and the bullstuffing the follows.

I'll support the Rams, it will just be harder if they leave because of that reason.

To clarify, I like a large number of players on the Rams and would still like them, but I could not support the team.

Okie dokie Mutigers. I think those horns have bit you pretty good and I suspect that after a time, you'd be back with your insightful opinions with the caveat that you are liking certain players but not the team. That's some serious hair splitting but if that is what floats your boat, I'll read what you have to state in the future as usual. lol.
