Interest is dropping tho which means money is dropping. Its reflected in the numbers. ESPN is unbearable imoWell, controversy in the ranking system might be what keeps peoples interest up and makes the money. ESPN seems to make a living at it.

I don't know what the answer is.
Everybody jokes. I get it. Truth is.......egos of todays kids are ruining everything. My generation taught our kids that they were totally entitled. We ruined everything for everybody. Sorry.
Not depending on the media, coaches etc is a good start. They have to find a system that is based on the field imo. Same reason ESPN is worthless now too much politicsI don't know what the answer is.

Preseason rankings are a major flaw. But I'm not a fan of the AP or coaches ranking teams. I prefer facts over opinions always will. Rankings may be fun but they are not effective. Tbh they are inconsistent all year long. And a horrible gauge As far as ESPN unless a game is on I really have no use for it. And even then i do mute the commentators at timesI like starting rankings 3-5 weeks into the season.
I think the aspect of rankings that is the most flawed is the preseason rankings.
