Well for a sim you would just plug them into the sim. For a vote I guess you'd just take everything into account like any other draft I suppose

The sim can just take the 12 teams and have them play a season out

2k is a little more challenging.

The best way I found was going to the PLAYOFFS mode and then using All-Time Teams roster with no duplicates. It automatically puts the 16 teams into the playoffs from last year but you can actually do a fantasy draft.

You have to user every team then I would just select the worst players for the 4-6 extra computer teams you would have. Like in the one I did we had 10 teams in the draft. So you have 6 computer teams. I had 2 play-in games and tried to get the worst players for those 6 teams. Some teams still ending up losing which is kinda ridiculous. I might do another one but the only flaw is some players not being on the game: Barkley, Reggie Miller, Earl the Pearl and Spencer Haywood. If we ever did one for the sole purpose of using NBA2K to sim those players could be ineligible. Pretty fun regardless.

Yea just noticed that that's kind of dumb you can't make a custom league with fewer guys.

But watching an all time team draft just now the picks are pretty spot on

Yeah it's too bad there isn't a way to make a custom league with fewer teams. It would be fun to do a fantasy draft and go through the seasons. Then every offseason we could do FA to bid on free agents, handle contract extensions. No way of doing less than 30 teams though. I would have to user all 30 teams in a fantasy draft then I could always change it to just the 10-12 teams. It just takes a lot of work to pick other players for those computer teams.

Whatever makes you sleep at night. Before 2k18, I didn't play since like 2k11 but I was playing on Hall of Fame. 2k19 is a lot more challenging but I could beat you will the Knicks lol

Not in NBA 2k2 - 2k6. I dominated using Dirk. LOL. My friends all hated him because I would drop 70 a game using him.

I never liked playing with him. That damn release was tough. The guys I loved playing with are Kyrie and KD. Paul George is a lot of fun too
