I don't agree and that's cool but i'm curious why Nap and Brouthers in front of Speaker?
There is a bit of a difference between pre 1900 and when Speaker played.
Dan Brouthers is pushing sure... i can agree with that... LOL...
But i wanted to put a pre 1900 player, just because i do find it funny how we Love some decades and dont give others the same love, even though they are so similar...
But i can not agree that Speaker is the most under-rated player ever...
when nobody alive has seen a player, they are pretty much forgotten unless they have something CRAZY about them to remember... Like the babe, and Ty cobb...
I like Brouthers just wanted a reason why you would list him before Speaker, also I don't think I have ever said he is the most underrated player of all time just one of them.
But who knows maybe I did say that, I drink way to much!
yea.. maybe you didn't... but i still dont think he is under-rated at all... But maybe i am jaded since he is not under-rated here, and nobody really talks about the past in sports to often... and even when people do, they will talk about players they have seen or own records...
Speaker has a couple records. Excellent hitter, excellent fielder, eh IMO he's underrated.
sure but its not a record...
Most doubles and OF assists are, he's got two! 3,500 hits is 5th all time and I bet you if you ask the average fan they wouldn't list him in their top 50, he's in my top 10-15 easy... Right after Kirby!!
