He must know how to say stuff without pissing them off
But he is showing up the ump constantly.

I am not a huge fan of showboats. If Pagan were not a Giant, I think many on this board would hate him.

Surprised Wotus took out Osich there. Both righties and lefties hit under .200 against him in the minors this season. Was pitching well. Save your Kontos bullets.

Agree. Let the kid feel the wind in his hair a bit.

I always wait for that big #sfgiants-#brewers deal. Sabean and Melvin have always been friendly. Have talked deals.

SF has looked for OF help. Some players discussed, among others, Cameron Maybin and Gerardo Parra. 12 HR for the SF outfielders in '15.

Rosenthal was suggesting earlier that the Giants and Braves could hook up for a salary swap deal (which I didn't like).

Pagan+Peavy for Maybin+Chris Johnson.

Peavy has a no-trade clause anyway and would probably reject it.

That's why I said "series of trades". And I was not necusarily advocating for it, just saying that it is on the table.

I agree that OF and util inf are the places to focus on in the off season. Only a HIGH end SP should be targeted for the rotation. I think both Beede and Stratton can be big contributors next year.

Look what Max has done with the Nats. He is "only" 9-6 but an ERA under 2.00

Would have loved to see the Giants open the bank vault and sign him instead of Peavy and Vogey. But that is not the Giants' way, I get it.

It is a domino effect for us. Starters going less than 6 innings (does anyone aside from Bum average 7 innings a start?) puts more stress on the bully, and more stress on the hitters to score early and often.

That spot is hot in the park. Kruk compared it to the right-center in Coors. I think it's right in the jet-stream.

Kontos can't get anyone out.

Fine, trade Pagan if you must but give up NO youngsters for anyone this year. Let Aoki and Pence come back and if you make the playoffs fine. If not FOCUS ON 2016

I felt like with that he was more indicating a trade that maybe could have happened in the offseason. He also said SF now has zero interest in CJ.

Heston has the only 2 CGs on the team this year. While I don't feel comfortable with him as a 2, he really is perfoming like one.

9-6??? Really? You are quoting won-loss?

Yes, W-L

You thought I was referring to his height?!? :noidea:

Must be the start time.

If you are referring to my quoting "only", 9 wins is pretty good, but with a 1.82 ERA, how in Sam Hill did he lose 6 games?

I don't like the deal regardless. Pagan/Peavy done after next season, Johnson and Maybin have an extra year. Maybin is a nice player, though constantly injured and hasn't had a full season of preforming yet, and Johnson is useless.

Joey P. saves a run. Got to get something going here. Giants just can not get any lift so far in their AB's except for Craw's bomb.
