Somehow, someway, this is Ryan Vogelsong's first career (major league) ejection.

That's kinda my point. I want a #1 or a #2. I think Scrabble is really just a VERY expensive #3. I am OK with a series of trades that net us some stronger top-of-the-rotation pitchers, even if it costs us some pain (Crawford, Duffy, Belt, etc)

If we are trading Crawford for a SP to make a WS run.

That leaves a gaping hole at SS, an inconsistent Belt, a hole in CF (sorry Angel) and a 3B we aren't sure will be as good in the second half (He could be, but there would be that question)

Nice plays by Crawford and Posey, and nice pitching from Osich.

I know Vogey was pitching well, but maybe it's a good thing he got out of there. I mean, as we've seen on this trip, all of the starters have pitched pretty well (except Bum and Heston) but have ran out of gas and gave up the big run.

I think electronic strike zone is in the near future. Would start it with that wrist band thing next spring training.

I always wait for that big #sfgiants-#brewers deal. Sabean and Melvin have always been friendly. Have talked deals.

SF has looked for OF help. Some players discussed, among others, Cameron Maybin and Gerardo Parra. 12 HR for the SF outfielders in '15.

That's why I said "series of trades". And I was not necusarily advocating for it, just saying that it is on the table.

I agree that OF and util inf are the places to focus on in the off season. Only a HIGH end SP should be targeted for the rotation. I think both Beede and Stratton can be big contributors next year.
