Hamels is obviously auditioning for a new job. The previous auditioners have not fared well, so maybe we have a chance to bust out the brooms.

I'm not above griping during a game, I just don't melt down and declare games (and seasons) over at the drop of a hat (or a bloop single). Hardly anyone here does.

The season is lost! We will never recover from that heartbreaking loss (pick one) earlier in the season. Trade everyone or anyone that is worth anything. How can we prepare for the future when the management is so immersed in the past? My God ... we are down 2 runs and only 8 innings to try and get it back! Impossible. Can't be done. This is all because of that game we lost to ther Reds in 2010. No team is capable of turniung the corner after that. No team. well maybe the 2012 team but they are a 'freak' of baseball. The 2013 team is the model of what we are left with today. I know of what I speak! I am ...

Who would have thought that loss from 4 years ago would be so memorable. I know EXACTLY where I was when I was watching that game (at the hotel bar in Dallas on a biz trip), and the main thing I remember about it was that it was the same day that Oswald played in the OF for the Astros.
