Well, at least Belt's defense hasn't faltered.
Remember when this team couldn't score 7 runs in a game? They were the last team to get 7 in a game in the majors this year. I would guess they are at least near the lead for most 7-run games this year at this point...
Shades of 2002...They are at or near the top in many offensive categories. It's an odd sight.
Hactor with another concussion?
Shit I hadn't heard that.
Maybe Ben Turner is the next to get a cuppo? Or Jackson Williams.
Rumors of Angel Pagan's demise appear to be greatly exaggerated.
He got a cuppo with the Rox.Quiroz was just released. Jackson Williams is a good catcher, and loyal to the org (was released, went to a few teams for a bit, came back).

edit (didn't finish my thought on Quiroz): I would have thought Quiroz would have been the guy, if Hacktor was dealing with concussions. Though, he was recently released.

Two starters in Chris Stratton and Jack Snodgrass were promoted to AAA, while recent roster newcomers Tyler Beede and Adalberto Mejia have flourished early. Rotation incumbents Joe Biagini and Kelvin Marte have pitched well all season, while the other two men in the six man group, Kyle Crick and Matt Lujan, have improved and made strides as the season has worn on. Stratton, Beede, Crick, and Mejia are all graded among the organization's top prospects.
I thought he had signed back with the Giants, but they actually traded for him. So I guess that doesn't make him as "loyal", but the Giants clearly wanted him back, and he's all-around a good character.
BTW, I found this bit funny in the article:
HA! A little too rosey for me.
