Welcome to the jungle that is the NL West as the Young Guns win their 5th game in a row and the first two games of this important 2nd half start. The Giants jumped out to a 4-1 lead in the 3rd inning and stretched it to 7-1 in the 4th. The top 5 hitters in the Giants line up got on base 17 times. Pagan and Panik each had 2 hits..Duffy and Posey had 3 hits each and Posey who was the standout especially having to catch again in the 4th due to a Susac sprained thumb (X Rays negative) . Posey notched 4 more RBI's on his revolver and pushed his average to .318 for 2015. The Giants tallied 14 hits on the night and had 5 walks, including a hit batsman.,

Alabama 22 Jake Peavy started and went 6 1/3 giving up 4 ER for his first victory this year. The Bulls in the Pen did it again...Strickland..Osich,and Romo mowed Em' down for 2 2/3 scoreless innings. Another solid win as the G-Men go for the sweep in the Arizona desert sending Bum and his big ass gun to the mound. Sanchez expected to be called up as Susac could be out 7-10 days. The boys continue to bang the drum for each other. Hey they would have it no other way. The ride continues down the road as they climb to 3 1/2 back in the Wild West.

Another stand tall victory 8-4 by the Young Guns..Time for a whiskey and beer break before Sunday's last shootout in the Arizona desert. Drink up !
