A week has passed by and the Tigers remain 6 up on the White Sox. Cleveland will be either 5.5 or 6.5 back depending on how they do against Oakland at 7 tonight.

So some perspective: Detroit's record is 75-61, Cleveland 67-65, Chicago 68-66.

If Detroit plays .500 the rest of the way, they will end up at 88-74. In order to catch us, Cleveland must go 21-9 and Chicago 20-8.
