Hey! Our regularly scheduled shitpen is back!!

Game over; get em tomorrow. Thanks Garcia.
o ye of little faith.

Taco experiment starts paying off...

This, IMHO, is a piecemeal team and I feel like some pieces are going to be very reliable and others are going to be hit or miss.

Taco falls into the latter...

I was at the game last night. They have a really nice park, not as good as Oracle but up there. They had the roof open so it got humid inside. There were a lot of Giants fans there which surprised me. It sounded like there were more then there were Rangers fans. Big pop when Tauchman hit the grand slam and BC’s 2 homers. All in all it was a good experience. Wish I could go today to see the new kid pitch but guess I’ll have to watch on TV.

How much longer does Taco Man get a free pass?

Last 7 games: 2-20 (.100)

Last 15 games: 5-34 (.147)

Last 30 games: 13-87 (.195)

This trend is not going in the right direction.
Nicely Colin'd!!

The team already has more guys from the 40 man roster on the 10 day IL than they do in the minor leagues.
In roughly one week, this team has gone from averagely injured to the most injured team in baseball...

Just a reminder...

The Giants got Posey and Crawford in the same draft. And that draft was one of the weaker drafts overall in the last 20-30 years
Also, they haven't developed a good starting pitcher in a decade. That is about to change I think.

Yup, and that's why I said Gillaspie was the 3rd best player from that draft. It was a big contrast between Crawford and Gillaspie to show how poorly that draft went, overall, and also how well they did to land two players such as Posey and Crawford. Basically, confirming your point that the draft wasn't that good yet they got those two.
Both all time Giants and one headed to the HOF. Pretty nice draft

Alex Wood now has given up 15 earned runs in his past three starts after giving up nine runs in his first seven.

Not unusual for a middling pitcher to have this type of production, but it bears watching as Sanchy, Webb and Beede get closer
