By sweeping the Rox, the Giants assured themselves of not having the WORST June record in history, but darn close.

Span leads off with a homer, and JC comes back and gives up two hits, and walk, and fielder's choice RBI, and a booming double. Thanks for the lead fellas, but he is less comfortable it appears pitching with a lead. Welcome to the second half.

Very quietly, Denard Span has actually been very good since coming off the DL May 11th.

In 43 games:
.312/.360/.480 line, 125 wRC+, .359 wOBA

And this doesn't include tonight, where he went 4-5.

Yep, hitting .300 now. It's weird, you look at the lines for guys like Posey, Span, Belt, Panik, and you wonder why we aren't scoring any runs (until this last week).
