Had a chance to exit clean, but stepped on his own dick with the balk.

Sigh...and the hitters are awfully hacky tonight.

The Giants might need to have an honest conversation about what role Sean Manaea can capably fill. He’s not a starter, he’s not a bulk innings reliever. Can he be a one-inning guy? Maybe, but at some point, they have to consider whether they can get better value from someone else.

He's been fine as a 3-4 inning guy overall. They aren't all gonna be aces. But they need one more legit guy to either emerge or trade for

I'm of the opposite opinion -- I think Manaea is a lost cause, but I still have hope Strip can be a legit back of the rotation guy.
