By sweeping the Rox, the Giants assured themselves of not having the WORST June record in history, but darn close.

Span leads off with a homer, and JC comes back and gives up two hits, and walk, and fielder's choice RBI, and a booming double. Thanks for the lead fellas, but he is less comfortable it appears pitching with a lead. :L Welcome to the second half.

Very quietly, Denard Span has actually been very good since coming off the DL May 11th.

In 43 games:
.312/.360/.480 line, 125 wRC+, .359 wOBA

And this doesn't include tonight, where he went 4-5.

Yep, hitting .300 now. It's weird, you look at the lines for guys like Posey, Span, Belt, Panik, and you wonder why we aren't scoring any runs (until this last week).

Then you watch the top half of the 2nd in Pittsburgh and our 3-4-5 hitters go down on 5 pitches. So....
