Not a head scratcher at all. The Giants have been awful against new pitchers, making them look brilliant.

Making his major league debut for The Fathers is Cuban defector Odrisamer Despaigne. In 5 starts for El Paso, OD was 1-3, with an ERA of 7.61, giving up 36 hits and 20 ER in 23.2 innings.

While I admire the guy for defecting, we should be able to hit him.

That's what has me worried.

Why is Crawford not hitting in the 2 spot?

Because Pence has been thriving there and Bochy doesn't like to mix lineups. But I agree Pence should maybe be batting 6th to be an RBI guy. Then again, he's got the highest average on the team...

We just need Belt and Pagan back.

That's a nice lineup. We know Belt is coming back, but Pagan's fragility is a worry. Still, it's June.

What we really need it looks like is another SP and maybe still a 2B (let's not put Panik in the Allstar game just yet). Nice comeback by Cain, who's getting Cained again. Sub .500 JA!!!!

Which is worse, watching them lose by not hitting, or watching them lose with a bad pitching day? Beause both happen, so you gotta learn to deal with it.

Question to the stat experts: why doesn't giving up 4 runs in a complete game count as a QS? It's a better ERA than 3 ER in 6, and you save your pen too...
