Ok, ok...When was the last time 2 descendants of HOFers played on the same team in the same game?
Ok, ok...
The Jays did it earlier this year with Biggio and Vlad. But has it ever happened before this year?
I've been hearing mixed reviews on his defense in left field, from solid to awful.I feel like Belt is actually pretty solid in LF
The problem with that is Bochy would have only two veterans in the rotation and I doubt he'd be very agreeable to that. I could only see that happening if wheeler dealer Zaidi got another veteran to replace him. Bochy doesn't like too many "youngsters" in any area of the roster (see outfield, spring training) and I think they are trying to be agreeable to his preferences for his last season of managing.DFA Pomeranz yesterday. He's pitched 39 innings in 10 starts (3.9/start) with an ERA of 8.08. He's given up 11 homers in 39 innings. That is HORRIBLE.
Maybe he can package DRod and Suarez for a stop gap solution. The problem with that is Bochy would have only two veterans in the rotation and I doubt he'd be very agreeable to that.
