With Cain and Peavy coming off the DL, did this nail Timmeh's coffin shut?

I just read somewhere that Timmy's BA avg. against for balls put in play so far this year is about .245 or so and his career avg. is a bit above .300 so the writer guessed that Timmy was running lucky until now and that it would catch up to him. So if that's true we may have gotten lucky up until now with broken Timmy and maybe we should bank our winnings especially when Cain gets back.

Duffman can do some damage with the bases loaded here.

Or not.

How many GIDP's did the Dogs have that inning, anyway?

Let's not get carried away here, still the 2nd best ERA on the team, etc. It's hard to say who loses out honestly, we have a #1, a #3 (rookie) and 3 #4s. Which #4 goes to the DL?

You have to take into account that the last three years or so Broken Timmy has had a good run and then followed it up with a bad run or started out cold then had a good run to be the Broken Timmy we've seen those years. If you average his last few years the likely out come is we should bank our lucky run with Timmy and pull him when the chance comes.

As I wrote just a while ago there are indications he will revert to form........

Quoting myself shamelessly

This has some validity, fair enough. I trust the guys running the show to make the right call.
