I mostly coached kids. little high school. and some college kids in the summer.

My job was to teach not tell kids they can't play. I always believed that every kid could get better with encouragement .

Agree, with kids that's the way to do it.

Just trying to see just how far you go with this....it's hard for me to believe you don't believe a Giant player can be bad (not bad compared to the rest of the world, just bad compared to other ML players).

It's the Bigs...If you make it...you made it to heaven. Not too many players make it to the bigs, You have to be good at something.

I know, as I said even the worst big leaguer is really good at baseball. But it's possible to be really good at baseball, but then when you are competing with others who are also really good at it, you might not be able to cut it.

McGehee is probably not a useful major league ballplayer, it's pretty simple.
