Just remember it's one game folk's. There is a lot of hockey to be played.

The Pens' defense has looked like this since the tail end of their late-season winning streak. The writing's been on the wall for a while, and the team needs a change.

Martin has been one of the biggest reasons for the defense starting to play poorly. Since we can't replace Martin, Orpik, and Michalek, just replace the one who brings the least otherwise, which is Martin.

heh ya we might get close.. 200 for every pregame, we're closing in on 100 post game, and 700/game.. lookin at about 1000 posts per game haha

that's if there isn't an upswing as the series goes down to the wire or someone does something mean in the game, which i'm sure wont happen #sarcasm

or if the officiating starts to only suck in 1 direction.. SportsHoopla got lucky last night the refs blew calls in both directions or i think we'd have a shit storm going on in here

Several times. We all know Danny was a mile offsides. However, the refs blew a call that should have been icing. Bad calls for both sides. The Pens didn't lose this game because of this blown call that resulted in Brier's goal, it was because Pitt relaxed and tried to coast through the entire 40 minutes and some with a comfortable lead. They apparently forgot that they were playing the Flyers in this series. I'm just hoping Philly doesn't make this a habit every game. My blood pressure is high enough. Lol.

Funny how Blysma does not sound as upset as the NHL. Still no discussion on missing the icing call. Both resulted in plays that lead to goals. So which was worse?

He was offsides. Bad calls are made every game. Giroux was assaulted by Zubris on the pp which resulted in a 2-1 and a goal. Flyers did not suck it up and got blown out. Goals are so hard to come by, that you hate to see one on a blown call. Bottom line is it is a goal and always will be a goal.
