Usually either one of two types of list: X number of teams he will accept a trade to or X number of teams he will not accept a trade to.

Not that there's any team that will take him on at this point. You'd have to be very desperate at least. What's annoying is, he was actually good for 90% of the season last year. No idea what happened.

Amazingly, my current experiences in graduate school closely parallel the Penguins' play right now.

I was going along great, understanding my classes, getting good grades, passing exams, learning my research, and then BAM! I'm lost. I have to submit a dissertation proposal tomorrow, as well as a dissertation committee, but aside from figuring out which group to join, I haven't the slightest clue what I want to study.

I feel so behind.

And it's getting in my head. I'm screwing up simple things I'm normally good at. I can't focus in class. I almost broke our instrument a few weeks ago by forgetting to turn it off when I went home. Sub-50% grades on assignments. Like the Penguins' team defense, I'm a mess.

Fortunately, I have more time than just until Wednesday to sort it out, unlike the Penguins.

They won't figure it out.
