K-State player pushed him in the back actually.
Eh. I just rewatched it. There’s no way they call that play a ‘block into the ball.’
The ou player was the one initiating contact. That’s not how they call that rule ever.

Is that not a case by case thing though?

Getting blocked in the back into the football? Seems pretty cut and dry to me. If you’re going to review whether the ball touched a player prior to ten yards you’d certainly review whether he was forced into it by an opposing player when determine whether there was a legal recovery.

So, the commentator was saying it hit off the ou right elbow? He said it multiple times with confidence. Who agrees with that?

Id have to watch it again to be certain. Nonetheless, they should’ve never been in that position and Riley fucked up the clock management meaning he had no chance to get a stop and get the ball back.

Yes but onside kicks are inherently quickly physical. There is going to be contact as opposed to normal kicks

So the OU player initiated the contact from behind? He was being knocked forward, it looks like to me. But it doesn’t matter, we lost.

He's basically saying they're Iowa.
Absolutely. Iowa=KSU=MSU=Wisconsin=Okie St=pretty much everyone else that sits between 20-40 in recruiting rankings.

This is why it's so much sweeter when one of us steps up and crushes the dreams of spoiled, entitled programs like OU and OSU.

Way more so than watching Becky get beat by Illinois last week.

Cfb teams need a Logic Coach. How many decades have I been bitching about this. It’s surreal how many 180° illogical decisions they make

Still shot not as good as a video but it seems he was blocked into it based on this look.

I think y'all still control your own destiny. SEC champ is in, OSU/PSU is in. Clemson is in(all assuming nothing crazy happens. And there is still a real possibility that at the end of the season a road loss to K-State will be considered better than a neutral site loss to Auburn.

Fuck you in your fuckhole, fucker!

Yes. He threw himself between the ksu player and the ball.

We’d need to help to make it and based on what I saw today we’d get prolapsed by any of the big three.
Yeah, today was a sneak preview of what would have happened to us if we had made it to the CFP.

Still way too lean up front defensively. Got pushed around and gapped like a girl's first trip to the hoochie doctor.

Yes. He threw himself between the ksu player and the ball.

And was then pushed forwards into the ball. If the KSU player doesn’t touch him the ball bounces right by him. Possibly out of bounds.

And that negates the rule how?
The rule is do that a guy can’t be driven into a ball on one that is hanging in the air. It’s not for a bang bang play. Especially when the player is the one initiating contact. And especially especially when the player is throwing himself between the opposing player and the ball with precise intent to get at the ball.

Dude. It was a bang bang play. And your above interpretation is also wrong

Well, we’d sure find out how much the committee values conference champions. That’s for sure. Even still, after that display I don’t think this team could win a CFP game right now.

Teams are never as bad as they look on their worst day.

He threw himself between KSU and the ball purposefully in a bang bang play. It’s not ‘getting blocked into the ball.’
