We’d need to help to make it and based on what I saw today we’d get prolapsed by any of the big three.

I think y'all still control your own destiny. SEC champ is in, OSU/PSU is in. Clemson is in(all assuming nothing crazy happens. And there is still a real possibility that at the end of the season a road loss to K-State will be considered better than a neutral site loss to Auburn.

I’m just wondering how Lincoln Riley thought the ball got launched another 20 yards if no one touched it.

Silly me! Thought the game was on the Longhorn Network aka the Big 12 network

Oklahoma has never and never will play on the LHN. You need to take a knee here, pal. You’re whiffing big time.

let’s say Bama loses to LSU without Tua and doesn’t make their CCG. I think there’s a very real chance they’d get in over Oklahoma. I can’t even say they wouldn’t deserve it.

Maybe ? They got beat down by the only other 2 halfway decent teams they played. Probably an 8-4 type team though

He's basically saying they're Iowa.

He's probably disputing the yardage it was touched. They were offsides on the try anyways IMO.

I don't think they'd take an 11-1 Bama that didn't make the SECCG over a 12-1 conference champ. When they put in Bama as an 11-1 non division winner, their competition was a 2 loss conference champ that lost by 30 to Iowa.

Is there not a rule that if you get blocked into the ball by the opposing team that would change the rule? If not it really makes not sense that there wouldn’t be.

Oh well, shouldn’t have come to that. Riley really fucked up the clock management at the end too.

Well, we’d sure find out how much the committee values conference champions. That’s for sure. Even still, after that display I don’t think this team could win a CFP game right now.

Lol. Why do I expect anything different? Big 12 refs are the fucking GOAT.

ARTICLE 4. a. A player blocked by an opponent into a free kick is not, while inbounds, deemed to have touched the kick. (A. R. 2-11-4-I) b. An inbounds player touched by a ball either batted or illegally kicked by an opponent is not deemed to have touched the ball. (Rule 2-11-4-c)

Sure. 2017 Iowa was 8-5 when they blew out osu . Similar type teams except here OU got some garbage scores so they can say they didnt get "blown out "

Was the kid blocked into the ball? Seems he was the one doing the hitting. But I’d have to watch it again.

K-State player pushed him in the back actually.

It’s why they’re seen whining to the refs for 5 minutes after a clear illegal recovery. Got to blame someone else for burning those timeouts

my guess is he was arguing because Bridges was pushed into the ball by a k state player pretty clearly which would negate that rule. Obviously they chose to ignore that particular portion of the rule.

Is that not a case by case thing though?
