that was fairly dangerous and on purpose. not sure why you think that is punishment enough. what will it take Carter losing his eye? it was intent to injure. it wasnt as blatant as McSorley on Brashere but he one handed swung his stick at the guys head. last time I remember thats pretty bad

I agree with the announcer it actually looked like he was apologizing to him. That's what it looked like to me. You could read his lips and he was saying "I'm sorry".

Yeah, super careless. I wish Engblom and Panger would stop apologizing for him. Glad he's sorry, but that should have been five and a game or two once Shanny gets done with him.

Punishing that might actually be in the interest of player safety.

by his reaction after the play I don't think he meant to hit him high. I have made excuses for Kings players for being stupid, it would not be fair blame other players for a mistake. Maybe a fine but I doubt he will get a game

technically repeat offender for a target of the head. i know its not an elbow but its a target of the head that caused damage (double minor caused blood)


just sayin..... but he said sorry so that should be ok. I just want consistency for headshots and dangerous plays and that to me is a stupid yes but a dangerous play

Not that repeat offender means anything anymore, but it was on March 23, 2012 that Keith was suspended five games for an elbow to the head of Daniel Sedin.

sounds like perfect wording to me. him apologizing even makes it even more with intent.
