Expected this one. You had to know they would come out with a strong team effort after Kovy went down. Love having Larsson back in the lineup. Too bad we let game 1 slip. If the Devils play to their abilities they can hang with anybody. Kovy injury may be a blessing in disguise.

Every team has it's off nights. Shit NJ doesn't have a powerful enough team to keep us hemmed in, We can out score any body. plus that we have just been playing flat out flat, no jump no nothin, oh well, like I said it's just one game..

Difference is that NJ knows how to play defense, Pitt did not. I think we bounce back and get our shit together. I think the Flyers may be taken NJ lightly. That needs to change.

And their gonna need to, we play like we did in the 2nd and 3rd of game 1 and they will get clown stomped. We are way too deep, we just had a bad game, let them think it was all them, lol. They played solid but not overly great, like I said, I def am not worried about it.

Respect to the devs though, they capitalized on the opportunity and really gave the flyers no room at all.

This was game four of round one all over again, except Bryz was good and the power play was lifeless. Those are really the only differences.

The Flyers rebounded from that loss and I expect them to rebound from this one too. Just an embarrassing effort on the forecheck and overall past probably the midway point of the first period.

I'm okay with the Devils making it hard to enter the zone and clearing the puck well. I am NOT okay with us not returning the favor. The Devils didn't have an astounding forecheck tonight. We just played soft THE ENTIRE GAME. It's like we saw the Matt Read giveaway from game one and thought, "Gee, no way we can screw up that badly again!"

I really don't think so. We needed to play our game in the second. The aggression offensively just completely evaporated. The lull started in the first and carried over throughout the rest of the game.

After reading your reactions, it's scary how similar they are to Devils fans after game 1. The Devils seemed to mail it in after the first 10 mins or so of game 1. We glided to too many pucks, lost physical battles, and had careless turnovers in our own end. Game 2, the roles were reversed. When you have two talented teams with depth it comes down to which team makes fewer mistakes. Looking forward to game 3.
