It isn't time to sell.

It is, however, time to be prepared for a sell-off

Hey everyone, with this loss the team has put itself into 1st place . . . for picking first in 2018!

I posted this on the main board...

The three worst records in baseball...

KC - 2015 World Series champions, 2014 World Series runners-up
SF - 2014 World Series champions, 2016 playoff team
Tor - 2016 playoff team

And at least both SF and Toronto were thought to be competitive this year. I think some "experts" thought KC would be too.

3 for the last 25 with RISP :L

0 for 2 SDI :L

5-14 on road games :L

Team batting average is .228 and sinking. Who's the hitting coach?

A much better game than any in Cincy, though that's a low threshold.

Every year a couple of teams are much better than expected (this year maybe Colorado? 2010 Giants...)

And every year a couple of teams are much worse than expected. Maybe this year is our turn, it does happen.

Problem is, most of these guys aren't going to bring back decent prospects.

Only one worth while will be Cueto, which they should absolutely look into selling. I love Johnny, but I don't love the idea of him opting out and re-upping for twice the deal.

The core is still relatively young, they should look to hang onto most of them IMO. If they decide to go that route, Panik and Belt should be able to fetch a real good piece.... but how much better will the alternative be? That's what I keep struggling with.
