It was encouraging that they didn't just give up, esp after the previous game disaster. At least they bought some more time to resolve the PV/Cain issue.

Belt has really reached his projected potential this year. I'm glad we stuck with him, I think all of us wanted to cut bait on him at one time or another.

Perhaps I'm the exception that proves the rule. I've always been a fan. Plus, I think there is a strong chance that we have NOT seen the best of him yet.
