Too bad our ROOT ALT. won't stay for comebacks it might give some love for the game back if he could find a way to enjoy them......Surely Haven't won this for sure, but nice to have a lead late for our Team.

Just wondering, I try to pay attention to the wonderful work done by Cal in the Current Roster thread, but who are Johnson and Smith (you couldn't have more common names LOL added) that they would displace the terrible LJW and others.

Oh, so you have like

dont know. Only thing I can guess is he was asked to strike out less and took that way too literally? Lol
I think maybe it's back to the league scouting and his good not great adjustment and think he will start hitting HRs again.

WOW Johnson that might be why he got a start with that pick in the outfield.

Adames needed to give way much sooner with Ramos calling him off.

We signed Johnson about a month or so ago outoff the Mexican league (similar to how we found Carny last year).

Smith was a top prospect once upon a time, but has essentially been a journeyman the last decade or so. He opted out of his minor league deal w the Spanks earlier this week.

Knizner is a minor league journeyman. Nothing to see here, really.

I'm guessing you listen if possible or watch one of those Game trackers. Too Bad about that being in enemy territory I am figuring.
The Padres show their games locally on a premium channel. I don’t even have tv, though, so that part isn’t really my barrier any more. But getting blacked out of the MLB app for all Padre games is frustrating.

I tend to take a break from baseball when play the Padres. I will somewhat follow on the gamecast, or listen on KNBR if the desire hits me, but I watch over 100 games a season, so having a few scheduled “can’t watch” games isn’t that bad, really.

You mean there's life beyond baseball? Say it ain't so!
