Giants walk the walk, talk the talk, and back it up with a 9-4 win

Wow what can you say ! Bumgarner and the Giants destroy the Cardinals in their own yard and they never looked back. Bumgarner 7 IP 3 H 0 ER 10 SO with only 1 walk on the night. Bumgarner just threw his hat in the Cy Young race and is now 5-0 this month. The best outing of the year by Bum. The Cards have to be driving home shaking their heads at the stuff Bumgarner threw at them tonight.

On offence all the hands were in the air celebrating hit after hit in a attack not seen very much in those parts with Wainwright on the mound. Wainwright gave up 7 ER . The Giants put up 9 straight runs. Pence was the star launching a 3 run HR in the 2nd inning that really put the Cards away and gave the Giants a 5-0 lead. Pagan got the party started early on in the first with a lead off double and scored which is the key to Giants victories this year. Sandoval, Morse, Blanco, and Sanchez who had 2 RBI's had good games. The Giants I think scored all 9 runs with 2 outs and the streak continues.

The Giants gave up some late runs but cruised home to a 9-4 win. This team has it going. They walk the walk, talk the talk, and they backed it all up stomping the Cards into the dirt. Giants 2-0 in St. Louis and now winning at least one more there is the goal. If they can get greedy and sweep this bad boy the league will notice big time. A great night to be a Giants fan. A Fantastic win by the Band of Brothers who rocked the night and all of St. Louis. I am really proud of Bumgarner who blew those boys from St. Louis away at the plate.

Go Giants !!

Good stuff. Throw in a projected 124 runs scored by Pence. Gotta go back to Bonds's last monster year, 2004, when he scored 129 runs. Along with 120 intentional walks. I seriously believe that is a record that will never be broken:

Next closest is Barry with 68. Most non-Barry is Willie Mac with 45.
