While I agree with you .... I also think it makes me wonder exactly what was Melvin thinking as this was all unfolding .... Rogers hasn't been exactly stellar recently ... he's put in to close out a game with a 2 run lead ... He gives up two hits and then hits a batter to load the bases (I would have pulled him here) ... he then gives up a double to tie the game .... still left in ... gives up a single for the loss ... just don't understand why he wasn't pulled much earlier ....
The Giants are the walking wounded right now. It was the main topic during pregame. Many in the bully were essentially unavailable today, and it isn’t like Roger’s is an end of the bench player. He is one of the core bully arms. He needs to be relied upon sometimes, and sometimes he will stub his toe.

Yeah if they go 3-3 vs Philly and NY that’s a win. 2-4 is not great but acceptable. Worse than that is a step backwards
