This zone is really starting to expand. A lot of rubber-necking from both sides since the 2nd inning.

I am concerned with Hicks' average and his K's, but at least he has been playing solid defense, and he has been productive when he has hit the ball, and with power.

Not sure how long we can carry SIX hitters hitting under .200 (Hicks, Pablo, Blanco, Adrianza, Arias, Perez)

He's made his homers count. Boch has said he's okay sacrificing average to do a little more damage. As for the rest, Pablo is just going to have to play out of it, but there has been talk of changing up the bench. They've been talking Duvall since before Belt's injury. Panik may get a shot as well. The problem is what to do with some of these guys. They'd have to sneak Adrianza through waivers.

Adrianza may be in it for the season, but he's gotta show more than he has. At this point, he'd clear waivers most likely.

I guess we'll see how these guys are hitting on June 1. But if Blanco is still at .105 by June 1, we need to get someone else.

Colvin and Blanco are going to be playing a lot with Belt out. We'll get a pretty good idea by then. JCP isn't showing he belongs right now, he could be soon replaced.

Given Noggin's affection for veterans, you are probably right that JCP is the next one out. He hit well in Fresno, but shows no clue on MLB pitching. Blanco gets a pass for a while, but not forever. His inability to hit it on the ground and use his speed is quite puzzling.

The Dodgers' Gordon had similar troubles when he came up, kept hitting the ball in the air. Now that his is hitting them on the ground, he's using his speed to get on base. Then once he is on base, he's an automatic steal. The guy is FAST!

Listening to Kershaw interview right now on FOX, I got nothing but respect for that guy. He's a legitimate good guy, has nothing but good things to say. He was admirable of Tim Hudson and praising Pence for his approach to the game. It's unfortunate that he has to be on the dodgers.

I was just talking about this with my buddy. A big change for Dee this year is that he's hitting the ball into the ground, not trying to hit homers all the time. You see it ruin a lot of guys careers, they have just enough pop to make them think they could be a power threat but are much better utilized with their speed. Corey Patterson, Andres Torres, I think Gary Brown had that problem after his year in SJ. Blanco may be in that boat too.

Nice turn, man Kemp just doesn't get down the line anymore. He's a far cry from his sub-2011 days.

Very surprised Greinke threw anything but a slider. Morse was going to attack any fastball he saw.
