The Ducks beat the Pens tonight in regulation. Now we're just two points back of the Isles with two games in hand and three back of the Pens with three games in hand. Win a few more games in a row here and we're sitting in a playoff spot along with the Rags, possibly even past them. That and we would be right there with the Devils too. It's an extremely tight division right now and every point matters.

Huge game tonight with #88 being inducted and then a chance to send the Leafs home with a third regulation loss to us this season already. I'm sure they will be a hungry team, so we need to come out strong and use the home ice to our advantage.

I should say jersey retirement for #88 by the way, but it's almost hard to believe it's even happening, considering we only have five other numbers retired in our entire franchise history.

On a side note, Eric Lindros is one of only three players of whom I have an authentic jersey. The others are his linemate John LeClair and of course Claude Giroux. I don't regret any of these purchases...Lol

I think the next 6 games could be the deciding fate of our season, with the exception of the Wings game(not automatically counting it as a win) I figure we need to come out of it with no fewer than 3 wins, if we do worse I don't think we will ever make up enough ground on the teams ahead of us unless they suffer a fate worse than ours. I'll still have faith regardless but please don't make it any harder lol.

It is frustrating to say the least. Even the announcers said before the game this Flyers team has the cast right now to beat anybody. Maybe Big E suits up for the third period lol.
