He has proven to be able to play well when he has weapons at his disposal. He is a one man team if he is going to be expected to do everything in the passing game. Right now, Roman is choosing not to run, which is the only thing we have done well today. Our WR can't get off their jams and it's locking up our passing attack. How many times have they shown coverage just blanketing our WR in the passing game.

He's had open guys, he just hasn't seen them. Sometimes they are right in his face and he doesn't' see them. He simply isn't putting this team on his back, we've never had the greatest receivers, I don't know why it is accepted as an excuse now.

I'm not using it as an excuse, but let's see him drive this offense with Crabby, VD, Manningham, etc. before we give up on him. He's flustered right now, no doubt about it. Patience needs to be given.

No one is giving up on him. We're asking him to make some plays. Any plays. This offense is terrible, and it's not all because of the receivers.
